Local AdLink's Pyramid Scheme
Dear Fat Free Google,
I wrote this before I was sure that LAL were criminals, and I hope sharing this will help you warn others against this scheme. Are you aware of the new company, ADZZOO? They were started by some disgruntled LALers - and although seem to be not as bad, seem to base their deal similiarly - relying on the naïveté of customer...

With reluctance, I have decided to suspend my sales and recruiting activities until most of my current concerns are addressed.
Aside from the technical glitches, which are numerous over the last three weeks, my central concern deals with my feeling that the program is being oversold - representing (or seeming to represent) products and services that do not, in fact, exist today.
Coupled with the push to sell ads "before the prices go up" and the frenzy amongst some "networkers" to bring in brand builders before the commissions go down had caused me a great deal of concern. My concerns include:
- Ongoing technical issues at site(s) - while promoting fast growth.
- No compensation/consideration/communication to customers and BB’s for down-time - consistently falling back on "we're in pre-launch, beta, etc...."
- Lack of clarity to the field as to if customers will be "grandfathered" at current prices. Will their rates go up and when? "There will be a price increase next month but we don't think it will affect you, but I can't say for sure............."
- Lack of specificity as to what people are “purchasing” with respect to search engine submission(s) - seemingly intentionally vague.......
- Mis-representing size of boomj.com [LAL's own search directory]
- Hyping “future” benefits – coming up organically, i-supply, new servers, etc.
- Emphasizing enrollment of brand builders during “beta” stage – massive hype as to “getting in now” – as opposed to controlling growth and getting systems/training established.
- Talking about a “certification” program down the road while encouraging massive enrollment and sales now – not enough attention to end-user customer satisfaction. (It's my very strong belief that any business will fail if the focus is not on end-user satisfaction.)
I appreciate all of your efforts in working with me on this and I am hopeful that I can jump back in soon! But I can not, in good conscience, get into concentration on this until or unless I can be confident that your company will be able to produce - and to provide value to the end-user.
